Our journey began 10 years ago as a modest family side hustle in local cocoa distribution. After a decade of learning the industry from the ground up, our founder completed his Masters in Computer Science and pivoted from tech to the family venture with a mission to scale it globally. Diving deep into the supply chain, he uncovered a systemic issue: a massive lack of awareness regarding cocoa quality. Manufacturers and distributors have a high incentive to strip cocoa butter from the powder because the butter is far more valuable to sell separately. This leaves everyday consumers with "brown chalk"—a low-fat, stripped-down byproduct robbed of the bean's true aroma and richness.
The goal became clear: to break these capitalistic industry practices and reintroduce the world to 24% high-fat cocoa powder. This is the rich, buttery experience that tastebuds have been missing for years, previously hidden behind B2B contracts and industrial labels. In March 2024, Cocoscape was officially launched to turn that family hustle into a core international business. Focusing on the B2B export market, we now supply professional-grade, high-fat cocoa to various countries with a 94% on-time delivery rate and a foundation of satisfied global partners.
